After attending this seminar, participants will be able to:

1, Better understand the current medical regimes utilized in HIV treatment. 2, comprehend indications for the use of resistance, tropism and allele testing in the management of HIV, 3, Identify some of the short and long term toxicities associated with current antiretroviral therapy, 4, Review the comprehensive medical care administered to HIV patients, 5, Recognize the ever changing paradigm affecting the decision when to initiate treatment in HIV patients, and 6, Discuss changes in vaccine recommendations for the HIV patient.

The Alpha Zeta Omega National Pharmaceutical Fraternity (New York Alumni Chapter) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of Continuing Pharmacy Education.
